Ondo state governor, Akeredolu recovers from coronavirus in less than six days
Ondo state givernor, Rotimi Akeredolu has recovered from COVID-19.
He announced this at a press conference on Monday, July 6.
Recall that the governor tested positive for the novel virus on June 30 where he announced via Twitter;
He said
“I tested positive for #COVID19. “All is well. I’m asymptomatic and have been self-isolating. Work continues. Your continued prayers over my well being are most appreciated.”
In a new briefing, he said another test carried out on him returned negative yesterday.
”I tested positive for the virus and immediately went into isolation with supervised home management. Those days in isolation were defining periods for me.
After some days in isolation, our team of doctors decided to take my sample and I was tested again in accordance with the treatment protocol of COVID-19.
“The result came earlier today. I tested negative” he said.
